Questions before you choose
What does Free leave out?
Only connecting a bank directly, and what a connection brings: shop names, card and loan details, investments and asking a bank now. Budgets, categories, tags, rules, reports, splits, sharing, unlimited file import and the phone apps are all in Free.
What counts as a connection?
One bank login. Every account behind it comes with it, so a bank where you hold chequing, savings and a card is one connection, not three.
What happens to my banks if I go back to Free?
They are kept and paused, not deleted. Each one shows when it last updated, and nothing you have already brought in is touched.
Does my bank connect?
Connecting a bank directly works in some countries. Importing a CSV, OFX or QFX file works with any bank, anywhere, on every plan.
Do the phone apps cost extra?
No. The Android and iPhone apps come with every plan, including Free.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Prices are in USD. The app itself works in any currency and converts between them at published rates.
Where do I pay?
On the web, in FridgeMath. The phone apps never ask for money.
